Core Values
There are five core values that help identify ignition as a unique ministry. These five statements are the foundation of who we are as a church and how we approach ministry.
1. Intimacy With God - God has called each person into a personal relationship with Him. We begin this relationship by giving the leadership of our life to Jesus. We grow deeper in intimacy with God by spending time with Him through prayer and reading the Bible.
2. Celebration - God is an awesome God and we want to celebrate Him in our life through passionate worship. God truly desires for us to enjoy Him, and we will demonstrate that joy in our daily lives. We also celebrate God working in individual lives through salvation and answered prayer.
3. Life Change - Part of being a follower of Jesus means that we are in the process of adjusting our lives to follow His direction and guidance. We do this by taking the truths of the Bible and applying them to every aspect of our lives. We will "live what we learn".
4. Love for Community - God deeply loves the people of our community. We want to be a part of sharing His love through our actions. We will follow the example of Jesus and serve others by meeting the needs of our community.
5. Authentic Relationships - God has given us the gift of friendship with others. We will help people connect with one another so that we can share both the victories and struggles of life as we grow in our relationship with God.
